THE WOLVERHAMPTON GUARDS CLUB
Household Division
Branch Meetings:
By kind permission of the R A F A club all our meetings
are held in the lounge at
26 Goldthorn Rd, Wolverhampton.
Normally monthly meetings take place commencing 8 00pm on
the first Thursday of each month (unless otherwise
stated).
(code of dress) Brigade Tie-Jacket or Blazer).
Attendance at the meetings is fairly constant but it
would be great to see some new faces occasionally, who
knows, occasional visitors may find that they enjoy
themselves and become regular attenders.
After the meetings end most of those attending gather in
the lounge bar for a while discussing old times etc, with
their wives, friends and girlfriends.
During this period a raffle is drawn. All proceeds go to
Club funds.
All in all, a very enjoyable evening. Some old
friendships are renewed and of course a drink goes down
very well with all that chatting.
If you are unsure at least give it a try, you will find
you will be made most welcome and you could meet up with
someone you bavent seen for years.
Dancing, entertainment and a buffet is provided by the R
A F A club on several occasions during the year, these
events go down well with everyone.
A full calendar of EventsJDances and Trips for next year
is provided by the Guards club in February.
All members are requested to tend their apologies to the
club if they cannot attend the meetings especially those
who are unwell. We have a welfare officer who may be able
to help you.
.
Members of all other branches of the Household Division
are invited to attend our meetings when in the area. Pay
us a visit your most welcome.
