boy have, over last few years, been
creating electronic music & animation.
recent collaborations include usa seattle
based poet artist lorian elbert and uk
hitmakers the b15 project. tracks
have caught the attention of the media
resulting in synchronisation within
various films, tv programmes & tv
stations such as real world, road rules,
rad, mtv, propeller, channel 4, channel 5,
bbc, itv plus many extreme sports films
& tv programmes.

this is machine boy. a formula, which to
my knowledge, combines heavy electronic
experience, guitars and rock-n-roll
influences. the combination: an extremely
adrenaline-spiced experience, this track
got me going so much, never having heard
such an incredible mixture of instruments
in an electronic track before, synth
strings, bass goodness, crisp drums,
effected guitars, played big beat style.
I recommend this to every fan of
electronica & any dancefloor where
the dj isn't scared to experiment.

unsigned electronic uk artist machine boy
has released the single 'action figures'
from his new album 'building a better
boy' which is available now on iTunes.
the quirky and radio friendly 'action
figures' track makes a stance against the
state of the human condition. machine boy
describes the single release as "a
light-hearted swipe at humanity".
machine boy's musical influences include
kraftwerk and jean michel jarre. he
brings his knowledge of drumming into his
compositions and focuses on pushing
boundaries, giving the tracks an edgy,
modern feel.
as an unsigned artist with downloadable
material, machine boy is now eligible for
the official singles chart, due to the
recent changes in the rules governing
chart entry. from january 1st 2007 an
artist is no longer required to provide a
physical format to partner a download
release. any downloadable track that
sells well has a chance at chart entry.
ditto music will be distributing the
single digitally to all major and niche
electronica/experimental download sites.
their recent success includes the top 40
chart placement of unsigned band koopa.
'building a better boy' follows the
release of the 'depression' ep, which
attracted the attention of mtv's real
world who selected the track "sleepless'
